Siapa yang tidak kenal google? website yang dulunya hanya sekedar mesin pencari sekarang telah merambah keberbagai sektor dari layanana vidoe Youtube, Office Online, Mobile OS android dan sekarang tambah satu lagi Google Crhome. Apa lagi ini? Google Chrome adalah webbrowser besutan google yang rencananya, pada hari ini (selasa,2 september 2008) akan direlease.
Mengapa Google masuk kedalam industri web browser sedangkan pasar web browser sekarang boleh dikatakan sudah jenuh dimana Internet Explorer dan Firefox merupakan dua browser teratas dengan diikuti oleh opera dan safari? Ada beberapa alasan mengapa google membuat browser baru, Namun alasan utama adalah bahwa kebanyakan web browser dirancang untuk menangani halaman web, sedangkan google chrome dibuat untuk menangani aplikasi web atau lebih kerennya disebut web 2.0. AutoPager is a firefox/mozilla extensions to autoloading next page. It’s configuration is base on XPath. You can find there is a built in function to create a XPath by click some links on the pages.

 Want to make tagging your bookmarks as easy as clicking an icon? Tagmarks, the add-on for Firefox, hopes to do just that. The idea here is to bring one-click bookmarking in Firefox together with the tagging power of the browser.
With Tagmarks, you have a lot of different icons that popup whenever you hover over the traditional bookmarking star you see in the Firefox 3 address bar. When you click in each icon, it will add the page to the bookmarks and associate that icon with that page, through the use of tags.

Mozilla baru-baru ini memperkenalkan prototipe sistem komunikasi masa depan berupa aplikasi ekstensi browser Firefox, Snowl.
Kendati masih berupa prototipe, kemampuan Snowl sebagai sebuah ekstensi Firefox bisa dikategorikan cukup canggih. Pasalnya, aplikasi tersebut dibenamkan fitur-fitur seperti e-mail, instant messaging (IM), RSS, jejaring sosial, dan web diskusi.
Salah seorang pengembang Mozilla Myk Melez menuturukan dengan ditambahkannya Snowl ke dalam sebuah browser Firefox maka browser tersebut bisa disulap menjadi sebuah diskusi online.
“Adakah sebuah browser web yang mampu membuat anda ikut serta dalam sebuah diskusi online?” tandas Melez dalam blognya, seperti dikutip ZDnet, Minggu (17/8/2008).
“Tidak hanya itu, Snowl juga mendukung sejumlah situs jaringan sosial seperti Facebook atau IM dari AIM maupun Google Talk,” tandasnya.
Di samping itu, Snowl juga memberikan fitur-fitur seperti navigating web content, termasuk tabs, bookmarks dan history pada browser web.
“Sebelum aplikasi ini diluncurkan secara final, Mozilla ingin menjelajahi Snowl lebih dulu untuk lebih mengenal konsep yang menjanjikan ini,” ungkap Melez.
Namun demikian, Melez tetap mengingatkan kepada seluruh penggunanya agar selalu waspada, karena biar bagaimana pun juga, sebuah prototipe pasti masih memiliki banyak Bugs yg terbuka.

 Another blogger’s helper: The AutoCopy Firefox extension places any text you select on web pages onto the clipboard automatically. Basically AutoCopy bypasses the Cntl-C involved copying snippets of text to the clipboard. The other handy shortcut is “Paste on middle click” which makes Cntl-V unnecessary. For bloggers who often quote snippets of other web pages, AutoCopy’s a huge timesaver (though you start to wish it worked in every app.) AutoCopy’s a free download, works wherever Firefox does.

When it comes to InterNet(Hackz), the first thing which comes to our mind is the browser which we use to access the internet. In my case it’s Firefox but I’m sure there are people who prefer to use various other available browsers.
Those days are gone when a simple browser was more than enough for our daily tasks and as web has evolved, our demand from a web browser has also increased and in order to fetch maximum from a browser, developers create plug-ins and we are going to cover the best add-ons for the major browsers i.e. FireFox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera.
